Formerly known as The Association for Poverty Solutions, our journey reflects our commitment to empowering local initiatives facing resource constraints.

The HIVE Project and Voices Podcast Series:

"The Hive" is a transformative program aimed at empowering creatively skilled youth to succeed in the modern economy. Through comprehensive business education, financial literacy training, and digital marketing skills development, participants learn to turn their passions into profitable ventures. The program fosters a supportive community and offers practical guidance on income generation, setting participants on the path to entrepreneurial success.



Voices Podcast Series The Voices Podcast amplifies women’s roles in governance and climate advocacy, promoting equality and action for climate resilience (SDGs 5, 13, and 16).

2023

Youth Bamboo Farming Cooperative

Our bamboo farming initiative has created eco-friendly jobs for 300 youth, contributing to decent work (SDG 8) and environmental sustainability (SDG 13).

2022

Youth Skills Development Center

This initiative establishes a skills development center focused on training disadvantaged youth in marketable skills such as IT, carpentry, and tailoring. Through hands-on training and certification programs, participants gain employable skills, boosting their chances of securing decent jobs and improving their socio-economic status.

Youth Financial Literacy Program

This program offers workshops and seminars to educate youth from low-income backgrounds about financial management, budgeting, savings, and investment. By promoting financial literacy, it equips young people with the knowledge and skills to make informed financial decisions, build assets, and secure their future economic well-being.

Entrepreneurship Training Program

This project provides comprehensive entrepreneurship training to youth in impoverished communities. Participants learn business skills, develop business plans, and receive mentorship to start their ventures. By empowering young people with economic opportunities, it aims to break the cycle of poverty and create sustainable livelihoods.

Financial Literacy Program During COVID-19 Pandemic:

The need for financial literacy among youth has become even more critical. The Youth Financial Literacy Program addresses this by offering virtual workshops and online resources to educate young people from low-income backgrounds about financial management. Topics include budgeting during economic uncertainty, emergency savings, understanding government aid programs, and navigating job market challenges. By providing relevant financial education tailored to the pandemic's challenges, this program empowers youth to make informed financial decisions, manage resources effectively, and build resilience in times of crisis.

Digital Skills Training Initiative

This program focuses on equipping youth with essential digital skills such as proposal writing, web development, digital marketing, and online entrepreneurship. Participants learn through online courses, workshops, and mentorship sessions, preparing them for digital-age job opportunities and entrepreneurial ventures.
